I made one really large purchase during my last week in Arizona. I went to Yuma and had the Big Foot automatic levelers installed. What a joy! I spent the first night of Plamosa road in Quartzsite. Drove to the perfect spot, although not level, pushed the "system on" button and the the "auto" button and ..voila.. all level. Sadie freaked out and I'll have remember to put her outside next time. When the feet come down it sounds like the landing gears on a airplane.
I have spent the past few days sorting mail and catching up and starting to pack up. Since I seem to really like this RV life style, I decided to rent my house out and become a "full timer" at least for the time being. I am amazed at how much stuff I have packed into my small 1000 sf home. It's a little overwhelming, but also a good exercise in realizing how much stuff I really DON'T need.
I hope to have the house rented by mid-April and then take off for New Mexico where I will joining up with the Wilderness Volunteers in Chaco Cultural National Monument for a week of volunteer work.
